FAMILY, MUSIC AND KITE FESTIVAL

October 3, 2009    -    12 - 5    -    At the Music Pavilion

Garrett’s Light

The first annual fundraising event to raise money and awareness to educate children on preserving, ex- ploring and enjoying our natural resources through learning and playing in our parks.

The money raised will go to The Friends of Quiet Waters Park and will be used to support activities in the park with special attention to children's nature programs and longer term programs to benefit the park and the Chesapeake Bay community.
Bring your family to enjoy music, kite flying, story-telling and other nature activities.

$10/adult, children (17 and under) free, $5 event kites for sale day of festival

Donors in the categories listed below are accorded the following benefits
and privileges, with deep appreciation of Garrett’s Light.

Pine Society: $50 to $99:

  • Includes 2 adult registrations and 2 event kites
  • Recognition in the Garrett's Light biannual email newsletter
  • Recognition in the list of donors on the Garrett's Light website
  • Tax deduction – donors should consult their tax adviser

Elm Society: $100 - $499:

  • All Pine Society benefits
  • Logo/name recognition on email communications to attendees of annual event/fundraiser and quarterly environmental education events
  • Verbal and brochure recognition at annual event and quarterly environmental education events

Birch Society: $500 - $999:

  • All Elm Society benefits
  • Logo display on the Garrett's Light website homepage

  • Ability to distribute corporate marketing/environmental awareness materials at annual event/fundraiser

Maple Society:  $1,000 - $4,999:

  • Naming opportunity on benches and/or the area in park reading garden

Oak Society:  $5,000 +:

  • All Maple Society benefits
  • Naming opportunity for annual tree planting/lighting ceremony
  • Exclusive naming opportunity on individual bench
